Utilizamos la expresión “to get the hang of something” cuando estamos empezando a mejorar en alguna tarea que tenemos que realizar, por ejemplo, ya que al principio casi todas las cosas nos cuestan bastante.

Ejemplo:
I used to have big difficulties learning English, but now I am starting to get the hang of it.
